Clubhouse Brewing Co has announced they have signed a lease on a building in a statement on their Facebook page from owner Zach Dean. “We got a 5200 sqft warehouse space located at 668 North River Road in Warren OH,” Dean said, in response to an inquiry from NEOCBN. “Around a third of the space will be a tasting room. We intend to serve bar snacks, and move into simple bar foods to accompany our beer, as soon as capital allows. Looking for an October open.”
A Google Earth search reveals the building is a former Fastenal warehouse, complete with roll up garage doors. Once it opens, it will become the second Warren, Ohio brewery, joining Modern Methods Brewing which also plans to open later this year in Dave Grohl Alley downtown. The former steel town has had no breweries since pre-Prohibition days. The brewery originally had an agreement to purchase a building in their hometown of Windham, Ohio, but it fell through due to extensive repairs that were needed on the building.
